While watching Sprout toddle around the house, jabbering at my Mom, I realized....
I did that. I made her, with her father's help. I carried that child, I lived for her, through the hardest months of my life, I delivered her, I've slept with her on my chest, on my arm, on my belly, I've rocked her sleep, carried her in a sling, in my arms, and on my hip. I've taught her colors and how to throw a temper tantrum (oops on that one.)
That is my child. My little human. My greatest project.
And for all that work, I get kisses and hugs and little fingers curled around mine while she walks, and someone who needs me almost as much as I need her.

A midmorning nap, after Sesame Street. I am horribly addicted to Instagram.
