Never hurt anybody.
I have been incredibly focused on being The Perfect Army Wife. (Does she even exist??). And in my haste to be that elusive creature, to stand behind, to support, to be back-up and everything else, I forgot who I am. Just because I changed my last name, had a baby, and settled down, does not, nor has it ever, mean that I have to lose who I am.
I am a wife.
I am a mother.
I am a part-time, amateur writer.
I read too much.
I hate to exercise.
I like to do laundry over clean the bathroom.
I am not a morning person.
With that in mind… yes, I am still, and always will be, the Sergeant's Girl. But I have so much so say, about things other than Army, and I have not had a place to put them. So this is that that place. Where all of me, the Army Wife, the mother, the bookworm, the gaming nerd, gets to rest. There is a life for me, amongst the digi-cam and combat boots, and I need to live all of it, not just the Army part.
